Refunds

There are two ways to do refunds with Revup:

  • You can trigger a refund from the Revup backoffice.
  • Or request it directly through the Revup API.

In both cases:

  • Refunds can be issued for the total or just part of the original amount charged to the customer.
  • Refunds have only three possible statuses:
    • success
    • failed
    • in_process

The refunds in_process might take several days to reach a final state, with waiting periods depending on the PSP.

Please be aware that when you trigger a refund from the Revup backoffice (or directly from the PSP backoffice itself), Revup will send you a not requested refund notification. Please, keep track of it.
